I have been on an emotional roller coaster ride today! My boss totally ticked me off today & then I get this text from my 25 year old son....."I think something's wrong with me....I've been coughing up blood all day...."
After I picked myself up off the floor, I called him & he said he thought it was his tonsils. So after he got off work, I picked him up & yes, he looked like he had swallowed a golf ball & it had lodged in his left tonsil. The poor guy could barely talk.
The doctor took one look at his throat & pronounced it Strep. That, I can deal with!!!!
On a happier note......I went & weighed in tonight. I've lost another 2.6 lbs. for a total of 12!!!!!
I think I need to go lay down.......
Sometimes, changes are a good thing!!!

And you deserve to lay down. I'm so glad your son is ok. I know just how you feel. I have two sons, 38 and 24. I love them both, but would like to ring there necks sometimes.

ReplyDeleteOh, my friends! Ya'll are treasures! Ya'll have brought tears to my eyes! Deborah, that verse is my all-time favorite! I say it all the time. On my computer at work, I have a strip of paper taped to it that says, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."

Hi Karen, how is your son doing? Hope his throat is doing better. I tried and tried to get the doctors to remove my son Shawns tonsils when he was a little guy. Now he is 24, and when he is sick it goes straight to the tonsils. Dumb doctors.
ReplyDeleteAnyway hope your week got easier. I'm sooo glad its Friday. I'll be working on some art this Saturday, We are getting some rain. Perfect time to stay in and get creative.

ReplyDeleteDear friends! Thank you so much for the well wishes & good thoughts! Jeremy is doing fine! I looked at his throat yesterday & it was like looking at a totally different set of tonsils! Even though my kids are grown, I still panic when one of them get sick.

Shari, I still can't believe I've lost 12 lbs! Usually, this is where I start petering out & going off of it, but I'm still stoked & doing great!!
